Carrefour is the Chinese version of our Wal-Mart.
It is the 2nd largest retailer in the world, Carrefour is a multiformat, multi-channel and multi-local retailer with more than 9,900 stores.
To say the least it was HUGE!
We then went to the Liuhuahu Park nearby our hotel. It was breathtaking!
It took 1 mile to walk around the entire park. It was packed with people from the very young to the very old. The Chinese really are health conscious and exercise daily.
The restaurant we were told was for the very wealthy.
That leaves us out! :0)
This tree was over 100 years old.
It is Byun Tree and is said to be the tree of life.
Recreation and singing in the park! Fun to watch and listen to...
They even have a small amusement park with rides for little ones. You know where we will be spending time this week with Lincoln!
Here we are with our wonderful guide and translator John.
